About our home

Our simple beach house on the Kapiti Coast is just one hour north of Wellington City. Our house lacks a sea view, but walk out the back gate and you're on the beach. The house was built in the late 60s and retains it's original nature. It is quiet and private.

  1. We are recently retired after after selling our recruitment business so ready to explore more of the world.

  2. Leigh is a digital nomad and has an online business at www.sheloveslifeover50.com. Grant enjoys Muay Thai to keep fit.

  3. In 2011 we travelled for six months around the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America with carry-on only.

Where is it?

Our beach house is on the Kapiti Coast - just an hour north of Wellington City. While our house lacks sea views, it has direct beach access. It is also quiet and private.

The local neighborhood is well serviced by shops, cinemas, restaurants, cafes and a great local markets on Saturday mornings.

It is a safe and welcoming community. Kapiti Island nature sanctuary is a popular destination for visitors. The Kapiti Coast is known for its nature walks and attractions.

Wellington city is known for its cafe culture and great restaurants. It is New Zealand's capital city and home of our national museum - Te Papa.
