About our home

Space, privacy, sun and relaxation. Nestled within the secluded Te Ranui Bay is a beautiful house surrounded by luxuriant native bush with a path leading to the beachfront. Built to enjoy the amazing 180 degree seas views this 3 leveled open plan residence has 4 double bedrooms, 2 en suites (plus W/C's on every level), modern kitchen opening to dining area and seperate lounge. The entire house is surrounded by large decks overlooking tracks of New Zealand's famous native bush and Queen Charlotte Sound. Once settled in, the great traditional New Zealand barbeque can be enjoyed on the deck or beach.

More about us

Glen and Diane live in Christchurch. We have 5 grown up children with families of their own. However they rarely travel with us. We built our holiday home to have a base for us all to meet which we do 2 or 3 times a year. We love hiking, boating, swimming, fishing, scuba diving, sailing and socializing. This is our haven to enjoy lazing in the sun on our beach or cooking up a storm on our barbeque. We love our holiday home and are sure you will love it as much as we do.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Located in the Queen Charlotte sound at the top of the South Island of New Zealand. The property is 7km drive from Picton the nearest town and port forming the gateway between NZ North and South Islands. The Queen Charlotte Sound is a part of the Marlborough Sounds which is an incredible interweaving section of waterways and islands with hundreds of kms of coastline. The area is a fishermans paradise. A short distance by boat, focus on some amazing catching spots with vast areas of deep sea diving for the nights meal or fish off jetty.
