About our home

We are a pocket of paradise right in the heart of Auckland’s most desirable suburb, you’ll love it. Our home is a stunning architecturally designed modern three story house. We are nestled in, right beside a park, with views that make you feel you are in the countryside. It’s unique and totally private, you will have no idea that you’re actually in the middle of a city. You’ll be 10 minutes drive to the centre of town and 5 minutes drive to Ponsonby Road for the best shopping, cafes and restaurants in Auckland. You can take a beautiful 10 minute stroll to our local beaches for a swim or wander down to Auckland’s waterfront and enjoy the great coffee from the many harbour side café’s. Also, if you’re wanting to enjoy the sea and sand, it’s only a 15 minute drive across the harbour bridge to the stunning Takapuna beach which looks out to the sea. The house has three stories - first floor is an entrance, second floor has 2 bedrooms with a private bathroom (shower, bath, toilet, vanity) and another separate private toilet between them and their own large balcony overlooking the picturesque trees in the park. Also on the second floor is the recently fully refurbished living room, kitchen, laundry and TV room. Directly off the living room there is a sunny private courtyard that looks out to the park. The third floor has a double bedroom and a small studio, both with elevated views of the park. In total, we can sleep 6, 2 bedrooms have a double bed each and the third bedroom has two single beds. On the top landing of the stairs, you can survey the panoramic views over a small farm, a picturesque estuary and the park. We get sun all day long, making our house deliciously warm and we have underfloor heating in the lounge, kitchen and TV room, if you’re coming in our winter. There is parking for 2 cars right in front of the house. And to top it all off, we have a beautiful cat called Midnight who is the friendliest cat in town. Come and experience our unique secret city hideaway. Looking forward to swapping houses with you.
