About our home

Our home is airy, clean and sits nestled in a gorgeous cottage garden. It is one level and has a double garage. The master bedroom has a double bed and its own en-suite. The other rooms single beds. Our house is very sunny and we overlook our garden and the rolling countryside. The garden is delightful to sit in. We will have the lawns cut while we are away.
The garden has many birds and butterflies in the summer.

More about us

  1. My name is Margaretha and I am in my early 60s and a Justice of the Peace. (that'll save you having to worry about your home! It will be safe in my hands) I was born and educated in Europe and speak several languages.
My friend is Deirdre, of the same age, she is a Kiwi. We are both retired business people and have travelled a lot. We both love reading, travelling, good food and people and having fun. We are careful home owners and have several investment properties, so know how to care for properties.

JUST REPEATING: We need a Home exchange in:

    LONDON, between 23rd and 27th June 2007
FLORENCE (or Sienna, Venice, Pisa or Lucca) between 5th and 23rd June 2007.

    Can anyone help us?

Where is it?

We live just 30 minutes from NZ's largest city, Auckland. The motorway north or south is ten minutes away and there is a railway station and busses in the township we live in. It is just on the outskirts of suburbia and the beginning of rolling farmland. 1.5 hours drive is the garden city of Hamilton, with glorious botanic gardens. Another hour further is the city of boiling mud, geysers and hot springs, Rotorua. Go north and you zip to the CBD in 30 minutes, further north to many, many beaches. Our neighbours are an international lot, with French, British, Kiwis and Sth Africans.
