About our home

Our renovated house overlooks beautiful Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkable mountains which, in the winter, are covered in snow.
It is a short walk to the Queenstown township with its very good shops and restaurants and starting point for the many tourist attractions in the area.
The house has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms each on 2 different levels. The beds can be configured as King or Singles.
The living area is open plan, making the most of the beautiful views. There is good heating, ensuring that the house is warm and cosy in the winter.
There is garaging and off street carparking.

More about us

By 2016 we will both be retired professional people in our very early 60s. We enjoy boating, golfing, fishing, skiing. We enjoy travel and have had 3 very successful exchanges in France and have currently arranged 2 exchanges in Eastern USA for 2015.
Our Queenstown house is our second home and is a very relaxing and enjoyable place to be. We are keen to exchange this so that we can have more experiences.
We would like to go to Europe in 2016. We may be interested in a longer term exchange (say 1 - 3 months or possibly more.)

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Queenstown is a small, relaxed and delightful resort town on the shore of Lake Wakatipu in the South Island. There are a number of skifields and golf courses nearby. There are several wineries, and many action/adventure activities such as jet boating, paragliding, hang gliding, helicopter rides to the mountains, and many beautiful walks and biking tracks. Day trips are available to many beautiful places in the surrounding area including Milford Sound.
There is much to do for everyone whether from high action to simply relaxing and enjoying the views, shopping, restaurants and great scenery.
Queenstown, while small, has an international airport with regular directs flights from Australia and a good direct flight service from Auckland and Wellington.
Queenstown is a popular international travel destination all year round.
