“Ivan's property is on the Lake edge at Rainbow Point with 95 degree views of Lake Taupo. You can cycle or walk on the pathway which runs past the property and runs along the edge of the Lake... It is a large home and would suit two couples or a family... Ivan's sister met us when we arrived to show us through and how everything works which was great... It is a very spacious home and has all the modern conveniences ... thank you Ivan we loved our stay and we will be back!! Lorraine and Des Havelock North ”

“Ivan’s amazing home has the WOW factor with uninterrupted view of the lake. The main living area is massive and very comfortable. The kitchen is also massive and well equipped. Our bed was wonderfully comfortable. This is an excellent location with endless tourist activities. We borrowed Ivan’s mountain bikes and cycled 3 miles along the lake to the centre of town and the up to the Huka Falls. The bar on the lake (2 Mile Bar) became a firm favourite. Great swimming for families in a bar set over the lake with a wonderful atmosphere. Ivan was in Australia when we stayed but the communication before and during was clear and concise. Many thanks Ivan we had a wonderful stay in your exceptional home. ”

“Ivan's holiday home was a real gem. We were in town for a sports event so were out most of the day but what a beautiful view to come back to every afternoon! You definitely feel like you have the best location in the area, looking over the lake. The kitchen was really well equipped, there was plenty of space for the kids to play and Ivan's sister was at the end of the phone for any questions we had. Great experience all around. “We appreciated Ivan offering his place to the two of us for Labour Weekend at rather short notice. The place is very well appointed and beautifully located by the lake with the snow covered mountains & Taupo all clearly visible and easily accessible. We loved walking the path on the lake edge - you can walk or bike this into Taupo town centre. We were impressed by the aesthetics of the residential architecture and how much Taupo has developed into a very attractive town with all the amenities of a much larger centre and so many natural attractions all within easy driving distance. We highly recommend the world class cuisine of The Bantry restaurant. Ivan's place is very spaciousness & big enough for a large family. We intend returning again for a family reunion to this natural wonderland. Thank you Ivan for giving us the opportunity to share your place with us. “Ivan's home on Lake Taupo is absolutely amazing - we loved every minute of the week we spent there and honestly couldn't believe our luck! It's spacious, well-appointed and had a view to die for, whatever the weather. We took mountain bikes to Taupo and beyond (Huka Falls and Araratia Rapids are impressive) and had a separate trip to Rotorua to the Mauri Village (really good, esp the corn on the cob for $2!). You'll have a great time here, it was complete luxury for a week and we can't thank Ivan enough for letting us stay! Kath and Paul x”

“We had a brilliant time in Taupo. It was our first time in New Zealand and we are so glad we found Ivan's fabulous place to stay. Lots to do and see in and around Taupo. Swan and cycled every day, played golf at the 9 hole course and went to thermal pools and lots more. Need to go back as there is so much more to see. Ivan was easy to communicate with. A smooth swap. ”

“We had a week stay in the property and absolutely loved the place!! For the owner to greet us on arrival was really great and to show us around the property. I must say the pictures don't do it justice!!! A very large space, Great kitchen and lounge with the lake view was a real treat! Our highlights included catching trout, walking along the lake side, having a go on the hole in one challenge, prawn fishing, huka falls, chairlift up whakapapa and sledging! “We spent a lovely week in Ivan's house in February. Everything was fantastic. The house is very spacious and beautiful and lies right next to the gorgeous lake. We put on swimsuits and walked down to the little beach just below the house everyday for an afternoon swim. There is a lot of fun things to do nearby and in Taupo city. We highly recommend Ivan's lovely house. ”
