About our home

Two storey family home, three bedrooms plus large fourth or rumpus room down stairs. A rowing machine, stationary bike and weights bench down stairs. Mountain bikes available for use. There are excellent, safe cycle tracks here. Breathtaking views over the Waimea plains to the Arthur ranges. Comfortable, warm and welcoming home. We have lived here for 13 years and with our two daughters have enjoyed the views, warmth of the fire in the winter and sun in the summer. Beautifully positioned for late afternoon sun, sun bathing, swimming, barbequeing, beach a ten minute drive away. Ensuite in the master bedroom with two separate showers and toilets for the other bedrooms.
A comfortable, clean home.

More about us

  1. Our names are Grant and Kathy. We are both in our fifties and have lived in Nelson for 15 years. I am a retired Superintendent in the NZ Police. We are first time home swappers and love the idea of staying in another country to meet people and see another part of the world. Our two daughters are both at work in Wellington and Auckland and may be able to accompany us for a short period.
We would appreciate being able to correspond with our counterparts to make arrangements as far ahead as possible.
We are both active cyclists and enjoy theatre, swimming, rowing, fishing and dining out.
