5km from TAUPO CBD, 1km from Lake Taupo foreshore. Next to lovely Botanical Gardens with many walking trails, 1km from Two Mile Bay Sailing Centre on the lake for coffee or a vino/beer and live music weekends, Ploughmans Restaurant and a group of local shops nearby. So much to do in this stunning town.

Spot of exercise

Craters of the Moon mountain bike trails at Wairakei or the Great Lake Trail to soak up the views on your bike.

Day tripping

1 hour to Whakapapa- Mt Ruapehu for skiing winter or hiking the Tongariro Crossing in summer (try the new gondola up to Knoll Ridge Cafe)
