About our home

We offer a large country style home with 4 double bedrooms, study, large lounge and separate living area close to the fully fenced swimming pool. The home looks out over a large garden of several acres, with large barn and outsheds for tractors. We run a working vineyard growing Chardonnay grapes which is located to the back of the property. The larger outlook is towards a mountain range with lower dry hills behind us. The home was built in the 1980's and has original characteristics of the era. It provides a spacious, homely environment of the countryside yet is within 5 minutes of the town centre.

More about us

We are a couple in our late forties and early 50's who have raised our children and are now looking for adventures abroad. We have travelled widely and are looking forward to extended stays in the destination of choice.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Marlborough is the premiere wine growing district in New Zealand. There are many wineries and vineyard tours available as well as a variety of eating establishments. It is close to the Marlborough Sounds which has excellent facilities for swimming, diving, fishing, hiking, kayaking etc. It is also only 1.5 hours drive from a ski range and lake district. Further south on the east coast about 1.5 hours drive away is the whale watching capital of NZ.
