About our home

Our stunning home was completely rebuilt in 2015 - designed for a large family, with modern kitchen/living, gym, dining room, music room and utility room. Outdoor room with gas fire, tennis court, swimming pool and spa in a beautiful garden all in central Christchurch - has featured in a couple of local house and garden fundraisers.

Features

More about us

  1. We are a family of five with a dog and two cats (who can be looked after elsewhere). One teenager has just left to go to University. Dad (banker), Mum (lawyer) - but all of us musicians from chamber music to jazz to rock and pop..

  2. We're active - hiking on the Port Hills fairly regularly - enjoying water sports in local harbours. 4WDrive car and bikes available for swappers use.

  3. Our home is full of contemporary art - we like to support emergent Canterbury talent.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Set in leafy central Christchurch, very close to Merivale shops which include fashion boutiques, coffee shops, high-end restaurants. Also 5 minutes walk to Elmwood Park - and 15 mins to Hagley Park which boasts the beautiful Botanical Gardens. 10 mins drive in the car to stunning surf beaches. Christchurch central has everything from an internationally acclaimed Art Gallery and Arts Centre. It's quite an experience to walk through a practically "new" city with so many emergent activities/shops/businesses - all of which are 21st Century in terms of having had the ability to start from scratch (after the Quakes).
