About our home
Our house is a new modern, sunny and tidy 3 bedroom home with 2 lounges and 2 bathrooms.
The master has a new super king bed, it also has a walk through robe and ensuite. There are 2 other bedrooms. One has a queen sized bed and the other is used as an office. There is a quality single rollaway bed that can be used in this room (office). In the second lounge is a queen sized sofa bed. There is a large main bathroom with bath, toilet, shower and basin.
The house is private and secure, plus it's extremely sunny and is well insulated with double glazed windows plus there are 2 heat pumps.
There is easy access to 2 relaxing outdoor areas and a well equipped BBQ. One area includes an outdoor dining table and outdoor lounge suite. Both are surrounded with established planting and there is a kids trampoline and a basketball hoop.
There are three bikes available too and a possible use of a vehicle.

We are Neville and Karen, a married couple with one teenager. We are both professionals Nev is General Manager at local golf course and Karen has a school uniform business. We enjoy travelling when we are able to get away. We have not done a home exchange before but are keen to try what sounds a great way to see another country as a resident.

Our house is situated in a quiet tree lined street and close to stunning river walks, hill walks, mountain biking, walking tracks and parks.
There are a number of nearby cafes/restaurants and retail shops, some within an easy walk others either a short drive or alternatively a 10 minute walk.
The city centre is a short 10 minute drive, Christchurch is known for it's gorgeous gardens, popular Margaret Mahey kids playground and the newly opened Crossings Shopping Complex. Plus there are plenty of new restaurants and cafes to enjoy.
The popular Sumner Beach is a 15 minute drive away and the airport is a 20 minute drive.
