Sunny family home with 2 decks looking towards 2 different beaches. Small private swimming cove 3 minute walk across the road, cafes 8 minute walk.. With many more 5 minutes by car

  1. We are a couple close to retiring

  2. With Ross working as a self employed commercial finance broker and Robyn organising events for the local council

  3. We love exploring new places with Ross liking the wines. Robyn the culture and both love learning about the food.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Situated 40.minutes by car north of Auckland city on the Whangaparoa Peninsula surrounded by beautiful safe beaches. You can also catch buses and ferries to the area. The peninsula is made up of families and holiday homes with activities focused around the beach and water with numerous safe swimming beaches. There is a Lesiure Centre with swimming pools and children's play area for all year round swimming and fitness. Good shopping options with in 15 minutes drive. Area has many walk ways to various streets leading to beaches. A world class yachting academy based in the bay below the house. Within a 10 minute drive is an indoor skiing arena called Snow Planet. At the far end if the peninsula is a large regional park called Shakespeare Park that includes a working farm, a kiwi sanctuary, beaches, and walking tracks. A world class golf club is just before the park.

Great selection of 6 restaurants in Manly a 5 minute drive with Manly Bar and Grill being our favourite. In summer be often eat at the beach either taking a picnic or buying fish and chips.
Cozy cafés
Less than 10 minute walk to healthy opions at 2 Spoons a healthy cafe with good coffee
Retail therapy
Silverdale 15 minutes drive or in bus route. Albany large mall 20 minutes by car and in bus route
Bit of culture
There are regularly dolphins in the bay below the house.
Walks in the park
Beaches and Parks.. Bush walks at far end of Orewa called Eves Bush
Spot of exercise
On any of the local beaches or Skakespeare Regional Park 15 minutes drive
Day tripping
Historical settlement of Puhoi or 40 minutes to the city by bus or car or ferry. Wendelholm Park.. You can kayak from Puhoi to Wendleholm. Fishing charters and boat trip to a bird sanctuary on the island of Tiri tiri matangi.
