“Tairua was our first exchange ever and we loved it .Tairua is perfectly located in the Coromandel Peninsula.We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Susan and John\'s beautiful comfortable historic wooden house overlooking the Estuary. . Below the house we could swim when the tide was high. Susan and John welcomed us with a lovely meal which gave us the opportunity to get to know each other better.We really loved the house ,especially our breakfasts on the deck covered with grapes and Susan \'s art room where she had kindly prepared paint and brushes for me to paint tentatively. We enjoyed our boat ride to Paunaui ,on the other side of the estuary where the beautiful beaches spread endlessly.Mount Paku,the extinct volcano is also worth the climb as the view from there is stunning. From Tairua it is easy to reach the North of the Peninsula and discover the pioneer\'s town of Coromandel, and Cook\'s bay , and the amazing Hot Springs in Hot Water Beach and the wine country etc..Wonderful memories .We were very happy to welcome Susan when she came over to Brittany.It has been a very successful exchange.”
