About our home

Extremely comfortable family home situated in a quiet street only 50 metres to one of New Zealand's most beautiful beaches. Our home has open plan living with 3 double bedrooms and one single bedroom upstairs. Down stairs we have another double bedroom/bathroom. The house is bathed in sunshine with decks on both sides. We have private established gardens with plenty of space to play cricket and kick the ball. There is also a sandpit/slide/swing/basketball hoop and an outdoor shower to wash off after a day in the surf. The house has all modern conveniences including sky TV and an LCD TV. Bikes are avaliable for adults and children. A gas barbecue is on the deck and will get plenty of use. We have a 2002 Ford Mondeo station wagon that is avaliable for exchange. Jess is our sleepy family cat and is VERY low maintenance, just needs feeding.

More about us

We are a family of 5. Jeremy and Yvonne are our names and we have 3 young fun loving well behaved children. Molly is nearly 5, Sean coming up 3 and Finn who is 3 months. Jeremy is a Kiwi and met Yvonne while working for an investment back in Dublin. We returned to NZ back in 1999 and this will be our third trip home to Dublin in the last eight years. Now that we have completed our family we hope to make it a more regular occurance.
Jeremy is a Chartered Accountant and is a partner in an Accountancy and consultancy practice. Yvonne is HR administrator but now a full time and very busy Mum. We love sport and are very active with Molly starting to play soccer while Sean is already demonstrating All Black tendencies. Finn just sleeps and feeds. Yvonne is a keen walker. Jeremy is a keen golfer, swimmer and try hard surfer.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Set in one of the most sort after streets of Mount Maunganui our home is one street back from the beach. This makes it nice and quiet yet only a 1 min stroll to one of NZ's greatest beaches. It is a very safe area with a friendly neighbourhood.
An easy 10 minute stroll takes you to the Mount village shopping centre where you can enjoy the cafes, restaurants and bars as well as great shopping. The beach accross the road is extremely safe and has great surf. At the base of the Mount are natural saltwater hot pools which are a great place to soak after a busy day at the beach.
A 15 minute drive or ferry ride across the harbour takes you to Tauranga. This is a city of just over 100,000 people. There is plenty to explore over there.
Rotorua is a 1 hour drive which is the capital of NZ tourism. There is plenty of Maori culture, concerts, luge rides, sky diving etc to enjoy. Auckland is a 2.5 hour drive.
