About our home

The house sits in a five acre garden which has featured in local publications. There are very wide seaviews from the house which is very private. We think the house is quite charming and very liveable. There is a lovely courtyard area with a pond and barbeque. We also have a one bedroomed cottage in the garden, 200metres away from the house if that is preferable.

More about us

Margaret and Terry are a semi retired professional couple. We have travelled extensively but we are tired of hotels etc and would like to actually live in a home. We plan to be away for two to three months and would be happy with a 3 week exchange or less if required. We love gardening and cooking plus Terry is a sculptor, examples of which are in the garden.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

We live in a pleasant rural area close to Tauranga. There is a local non surf beach 15 minutes walk away. Mount Maunganui with an excellent surf beach is 25 minutes away. Tauranga, 15 minutes away, is a pleasant city with excellent shopping and facilities. There is a supermarket, doctor/dentist etc. 10 minutes away at Bethlehem. Rotorua is handy, an hour away, and Auckland is two hours away.
