About our home

1 db (queen size)l & 1 single brm, kitchen/ dining rm, and lounge. small bathroom (shower only) and toilet. large covered deck. Heating by log burner and electric) In Turangi, (centre of Nth Island) on the Tongariro river. Trout fishing and lake at doorstep. A 40 min drive to ski slopes (Mt Ruapehu). Lots of tramping and cycle tracks in area (eg Tongariro Crossing). Hot thermal pools nearby.
About a dozen cafe/ restaurants within 2km.

Small quiet town, area is an important tourist destination. Taupo city 30mins away at Nth end of lake Mountains less than 30mins Sth,. lots of tramping and cycle ways within easy access. Skiing in winter. Natural hot thermal pools.
