About our home

Our house has 3 bedrooms, bathroom with claw-foot bath, shower room, 2 toilets, study, dining room, large lounge, kitchen, patio and sun porch. It also has a piano, private swimming pool, large garden, and outside BBQ.

The house is private, situated up a long drive way yet it is only 5 minutes walk from rail and bus. The house-swap comes with the use of 2 cars and bicycles.

We are two semi-retired professionals seeking a house-swap so we can return to the UK for a holiday. Most areas considered, and we would like to stay for at least one month or longer.

Silverstream is a well situated for day trips to the wine-growing regions of Martinborough, numerous bush walks and the beach. Its approximately 30 minutes drive from the centre of Wellington city. Silverstream is very handy for lovers of golf with a driving range 5 minutes away and many golf courses in the area. Fly fishing is also just moments away with the Hutt River on the doorstep.
