About our home

This accommodation is set directly across from the beach. Our home is clean, and comfortable with amazing views from the deck, Lounge and bedroom. With a large kitchen area although its lovely to BBQ from the deck and enjoy the views. Orcas and dolphins can be seen cruisng by when they come into the harbour. The beach is white sand as are all the beaches in the area. Swim in the harbour or at the ocean beaches - take your pick. There is a ferry service to take you across to the large sand dunes and more white sand beaches. There is car parking right outside and plenty of room for parking a trailer boat. The entire site is very bright and sunny - the most fantastic sunsets are seen directly into the Tasman Sea. The Hokianga is a very historic area of New Zealand and where the first visitors from Polynesia arrived. Cape Reinga and The Bay of Islands are within handy driving distance. Omapere provides a convenient base for touring the whole of Northland with heaps of attractions. Check out the many websites for hokianga and northland.
