About our home

We offer a modern purpose-built cottage in the large garden of our home. There is a kitchen/lounge with tiles floor and double doors opening onto a terrace and access to the gardens, petanque court, geothermal swimminmg pool and jacuzzi. There is a bedroom with double four-poster bed and a shower/toilet. There is Internet access for your laptop. The property is on a cliff overlooking Tauranga Harbour with a private path leading to the water. We have chickens, goats and ducks in a rural. Collect your own free range eggs.

We are originally from the UK and run an IT business based in New Zealand and the UK. We divide our time between NZ and UK. We love animals, golf and crafts. We are in our early 50s with no children. We spend the Northern summer in UK and are interested in a European holiday during that time. Happy to consider an Australia exchange during the Southern summer. Since this is not our main home we can be flexible about when you visit.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

The immediate area has lovely walks with local shops 5 minutes by car. Tauranga is 15 minutes drive with all services and a magnificent beach. There are numerous cafes, restuarants and shops. Hotpools, horse riding, dolphin watching and swimming nearby. Rotorua is about an hour away and Coromandel the same. Visit volcanic White Island for an unforgetable expereince.
