About our home

Our beach house is a classic 'kiwi' bach - very comfortable and user friendly, simple but relaxing and fun.
It is literally right on the sand at Whangamata, a great beach in a the coastal town at the bottom of the Coromandel Penninsula on the east coast of the North Island.

It is a great place to be in the summer (February through May) and as it is a second home, we are pretty flexible in terms of it's availability.

More about us

We are a husband and wife with a teenage son and near teenage daughter. We wil be travelling to Europe in July, August and September of 2007, and are looking to find some great non-simultaneous exchanges.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Whangamata is a town of about 5,000 people with many nice restaurants and cafes, a supermarket, shops and services, a huge beach and port. Everything you need for a great holiday is there.

The surrounding environment is an adventure playground, on, in and off the water with many bush walks, mountain bike or walking tracks, as well as any water based activity you wish.
