This modern and and well equipped architect designed "bach" is two sections back from the beach on the edge of the river. The beach house has expansive rural and river views.
Kayak up the river to the beach in one of our kayaks, or use the laser yacht off the beach.
The large section is great for children. The bunk room and spare bedroom are slightly separate from the main bedroom giving privacy to the those in the master bedroom. A walk around the bay leads to New Chum's Beach, an idyllic unspoilt paradise.
Five night minimum stay.
Part of a swap could be our Auckland home situated in gorgeous Devonport. This is a luxury character apartment with harbour views and is a few minute's walk to Victoria Road for shops, cafes and restaurants. A 12 minute ferry ride takes you into downtown Auckland. There are 5 local beaches and two hills for walks. The apartment has two bedrooms, two living areas, an office, three bathrooms and a comfortable outdoor area as well as a balcony. It also has a lift.

I do wish I'd traveled in "Season" but I managed to get out in the rain and locate lots of fun including the Auckland Museum and a driver to Rotorua and Waitomo caves. “Six of us - parents grandparents and kids - stayed in Bridget and Michael's house for five days in December 2019. It is a perfectly designed holiday home in a fabulous location with a river running along the boundary, beautiful rural views and a minute or so walking to a white sand beach. It had everything we needed for cooking and entertaining ourselves, is child- friendly and has extensive decking, so It is great for indoor-outdoor living. Bridget was very easy to communicate with and we thoroughly enjoyed her recommendation to eat at Luke's Kitchen. This was a perfect base to explore the Coromandel coast and we couldn't recommend it more highly. Jude and John”

The views from the floor-to-ceiling glass walls that wrap around the back of the house are breathtaking - green, rolling hills with lush vegetation, amazing wild flowers and a beautiful river flowing right past. Our family enjoyed evening kayaks from the house to the beach. The home is decorated with comfortable and modern furnishing and includes everything you could possibly need! Bridget and Mike were wonderful throughout. We hope to someday be back!”

We are a couple, a barrister and a photographer/author and have two adult children.
We have a spacious top floor apartment in a two storied character building consisting of two apartments in Devonport, Auckland. The apartment has lovely views to the harbour and Auckland city. It is a several minute walk to the beach and an 8 minute walk to the ferry which takes 12 minutes to get to downtown Auckland. We also have a beach house at Whangapoua, Coromandel. We are very experienced house swappers and will treat your home with great care.
