“We have exchanged with Robert and Kirsti in Borsa, near Trondheim for two weeks in July 2018. What a house they have! This is probably the most beautiful house we have visited. Its modern and nice, very beautiful and comfortable. When have your meals you are in font of a beautiful forest but still with plenty of privacy. The sourrundings are great: forest, lakes,...and Tondheim is also a very nice city. They cared a lot about our house and were also generous and gentle with us. So we recommend this exchange.”

About our home
Our home is a typical Nordic wooden house with a lot of light both outside and indoors!
The house is situated in a rural area with a stunning view over the estuary of the river Gaula and the Trondheim fjord.
We have a private back garden bordering on a forest and the surrounding fields. In the garden you'll find a campfire pan and lots of space to move around.
A veranda to the east gives you the morning sun and an atrium formed veranda to the south has a gas grill where you can enjoy most of the day.
The house is spacious with a combined dining space and main living room at the ground floor and a living room in the lower floor.
The house is for us an everyday retreat and we never get tired of the view. We love to stay in different parts in and around the those dependent on seasons.
The bedrooms are at all three levels, two on the lower floor, two on the ground floor and two on the 1st floor.
We have a double garage for our cars and a large shed behind the garage.
The house was built in 1990, refurbished in 2010 and an extension was added in 2016.

Robert's reviews
As a host (2)“We stayed in Robert and Kirsti home over the summer. We have never been to Norway before and loved it. Lots of hiking, lakes, people friendly and helpful, and Trondheim is and interesting town. We were there from late July and arriving in daylight at 11pm was strange, Never really got dark. We also stayed in their holiday home near Oppdal which blew me away. Three good size wooden buildings with views over the lake and plenty of excellent hikes from the front door. Robert and Kirsti left loads of information and were a pleasure to deal with Would thoroughly recommend thanks”
