About our home

We would like to swap 2 weeks sometime between June the 20th and August the 2nd. It is possible for us to meet you when you come to Norway and then leave for your home the day after, or we can meet at your home, and my sister can meet you at our house.

Our house was renovated in 2008 and is today a modern Norwegian home. It is well suited for children with a gate at the stair case, a big fenced garden with swings, a sand box and a trampoline. We have 3 bedrooms upstairs, 2 downstairs and a bath room on each floor.

We have 3 grown up bikes, baby hanger for the bike and childseat for the bike, and 2 children bikes. There are several golf courses nearby.
There is a small grocery store near by (100 meters) where the bus stop to Oslo is located (a 20 minute bus ride). And the local city center with some cafes, restaurants and nice shops is a short walk away (1,5 km). The area is suburbian and mainly villas.

We have a wonderful cat who is exeptionally loving and kind and loves cuddeling. But he is too old to play. He will be home, so it is important that you are not allergic.

More about us

  1. We are a family of 4, two children (6 and 2 years old)

  2. Henrik is an engineer, Grid is a teacher

  3. We are active happy and respectful people, and our home reflects this.
