About our home

Our flat is a 154 m2 flat high up in a beautiful building built in 1900. It is located in the "chic" downtown area called Frogner. You can walk almost to all the well known sights in Oslo and the Vigeland park with its extraordinary sculptures is just within 5 minutes walk. You can actually see the beginning of it from the flat.
The flat has got white walls, wooden floor, high ceilings and stucco through out. It consists of a big and light living room, a huge modern kitchen, three bedrooms: a very big master bedroom with a comfortable double bed (160 cm), another bedroom with a single bed that can be be pulled out to a double bed, and finally a last bedroom with a normal size single bed. There is two bathrooms, one with a bath tube and another with a shower. Finally there is also a nice sunny balcony on which you can enjoy the long nice sun hours during the summer up here in Scandinavia. There is an elevator in the building.
The neighborhood is filled with small cute designer shops, bakeries, vegetable and fruit grocery shops, coffee shops, tapas bar and of course Oslo's best fish shop.
Next to the Vigeland park you have got a big outdoor pool, tennis courts, Oslo's biggest playing ground and a skating rink during the winter. You have also got several museums within walking distance (Ibsen museum, Oslo by museum, Vigeland museum), and the Bygdøy Island is close by, 10 minutes witch bus or boat. There you will find the Viking museum, the folk museum and the Kon tiki museum, as well as wonderful beaches and forest.
The Holmenkollen mountain where you can go for nice walks is just half an hour away with the subway.
