About our home

We have a Nordic cozy, clean and comfortable bright one level home located minutes from the city center of Kongsberg. Our home is so conveniently located in a suburb of Oslo and Drammen. Six bedrooms and 3 bathrooms make it easy for family living. We have two kitchens located on the front and back side of the house with a game room and living area looking out into the garden. An outdoor fireplace makes for a nice place to spend evenings sharing a meal and breathing in the clean Nordic air.

More about us

We are a family of 5 that love people and exploring different parts of the world. We previously lived in the States and so far have enjoyed visiting different areas in Europe! My husband Torje is an engineer and I work with children and photographer on the side. We have jumped in to the active Norwegian lifestyle of being outdoors in all types of weather. The summers here in Norway are gorgeous with postcard views in every area of the country. We ski, hike, swim in lakes and try all the Norwegian activities.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Located in a a beautiful ski town of Kongsberg, we have easy access to popular destinations in the capital of Oslo and countryside towns of Tønsberg and near the driving routes to the fjords. We are 5 minutes walk to the train and bus station making it easy to travel without a car. The famous Kongsberg Jazz festival takes place the first week of July attracting people from around the world.
