About our home

Our light, peaceful and spacious wood cabin is surrounded by nature and has beautiful views of Trysil mountain, which is Norway's largest ski resort. It is 10 minute drive to the resort with 68 slopes and 31 lifts, three children's areas and several snow parks. There are 100 km of groomed cross-country trails.

Built in 2015, it is equipped with five bedrooms accommodating up to 12 persons. The interior incorporates Scandinavian design and local materials. There are two living areas, a balcony, large terrace, sauna and open plan kitchen and dining area that seats 12. Relax in the serene environment with a drink by the fire or out on the terrace with the outdoor fire crackling and watch the sun set on the mountain.

Cabin features: 5 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 2 bathrooms plus one toilet on the 2nd floor, sauna, large hallway / entrance hall, technical room / laundry, open plan kitchen and living room, large tiled terrace of approximately 50m2, covered entrance, covered terrace on two sides, a balcony in front of living room on the 2nd floor and garage.

Electric car charging: the cabin has a Tesla wall charger (3 x 16A / 400 V) that fits all cars with type 2 connector.

Please be aware that we require the use of a local cleaning company for the exit clean. This costs NOK 1,300 including VAT and must be paid directly to the cleaning company (Trysil Renhold).

Some feedback from previous guests:
"A large, beautiful and nicely furnished cabin in a lovely location. Lots of beds and a very well equipped kitchen. Received good and clear information about everything in advance and was able to easily and quickly get answers to questions, via e-mail. The whole family enjoyed themselves and we look forward to returning :). Recommended if you are going to rent a cabin in Trysil." 10/10 rating.

"Thanks for everything ❤️ The cabin is perfect! Renée is a very nice and polite person. We will be back again, for sure." 10/10 rating.
