About our home

Traditional townhouse modernized in nordic style.

Three floors and a loft, very suitable for a family with kids, but also couples. Three bedrooms with beds for 4, and a loft with up to four mattresses. About 120m2 in total.

Friendly for children, with bikes, trampoline in the garden, PlayStation and toys. Terrace with barbeque.

It is only a 10-15 minutes walk from the historical city centre of Stavanger.

I am also interested in exchanging cars- I have a Nissan Leaf 2017 model (electric)

More about us

  1. I am 47 years old, work in a bank, and I have three lovely boys, aged 9, 14 and 25. If the world opens up, we will be glad to do an exchange in Southern Europe this year.

  2. We are an active family, the boys play football, and we are hiking in summer and skiing in winter. Norway have amazing sceneries for outdoor activities.

  3. We love to travel and experience new cultures, as well as connecting with people.

Neighbourhood

Our home is located in a quiet and safe neighbourhood, 200 meters from the nearest bus stop. 15 minutes drive to the airport, and 20 minutes walk to the train station (7 minutes with bus).

Stavanger has about 100.000 inhabitants, and are quite international because of the oil industry. The nature around the city is amazing, with high mountains to hike, long sandy beaches and the famous fjords. The city is named "the gate to the fjords", and are close to Preikestolen- witch is a must see when in Norway.
