More about us

  1. We are a family of two, mamma Liv Unni (61) and daughter Julie, 19. Though we do not always travel together. Sometimes I would rather bring a friend or two. We love our home and our city. We enjoy skiing during wintertime, or we enjoy our open fireplace a quiet night home. In the summer we sometime like to go hiking in the mountains. We both are scubadivers and should love to go to some good scubadestinations. But we also love big cities. We love travelling and are always on search for new destinations. I am a pharmacist, while Julie is a student of technology at University of Oslo. We have done several successful exchanges during 2013 -2018 to Spain, France, Austria, Brisbane, Sydney and South Africa. We are clean and tidy people who like to take good care of our house as we will do with yours.

Neighbourhood

Safe and quiet residential area with local restaurants, grocery stores and some shopping. 10 min to central station with metro, tram or bus, all within 5 min walk. Very nice walking paths along the river all the way down to the city centre. More restaurants, shops and nightlife can be found on "Grünerløkka", our neighbouring part of the city. Oslo has a lot to offer from famous museums: Edward Munch museum, National museum, Kon-Tiki Museum, Gustav Vigeland Sculpture park amongst many. The opera house is worth visiting both for a performance and to enjoy the beautiful building and its great location by the sea. But Oslo also has a lot to offer nature lovers. The famous ski-areana, Holmenkollen can be reach by the metro from our home, and from there you have hiking trails as well as the best view of the town. On a warm summer day we prefer the seaside with the small passenger ferries with regular service to the small islands in the fjord. For children of all ages we recommend Tusenfryd amusement park.
