About our home

We have a lovely 19th century apartment in the heart of the city. Close to pretty much everything. Parks, theaters, restaurants, coffee shops and shopping is within walking distance. Right up the street is the royal palace and 5 minutes walk takes you to the beautiful Aker brygge where you can enjoy a great meel with a fab view and a swim if you would fancy that. It's also walking distance to all the trains and subways. Which means that there is no need for car. Oslo is great to visit both summer and winter time. There is great skiing facilities in Oslo that can be reached by the subway. And the summer is best spend on the great islands that can be reached by boat from aker brygge.
Although we live in the heart of Oslo the apartment is in a really quiet area.
We have 2 small children. So the apartment is best for travelers with small children or a couple. We have one queen sized bed in the master bedroom . The other bedroom has a little bed for a child (3-5 years) . The third room has a babycot.

In my opinion the best area in town. Really close to all the great restaurants, connecting points (bus. Train, boat, subway and trams) , outdoor activities, parks, theaters, museums and so on. Although it's very central this area is not noisy.
