About our home

We have two boys aged 3 and 6, respectively, so obviously their toys would suit this age range! The house/area would also suit a couple without children. The rear of the house contains a terrace (decking) looking out onto protected woodland. There is also a large children's playground about 25-30 metres from the house. The ground and 1st floor of the house will be available. (The 2nd floor contains our office/loft.) The ground floor comprises a large open plan living room and attached kitchen with all mod cons, as well as a WC in the entrance hallway. The 1st floor comprises a master bedroom and an additional bedroom in which our boys sleep in a fitted bunk bed. The main bathroom is also on the 1st floor comprising a bath/WC and washing machine/tumble dryer. We also have a car port.

Where is it?

There is a large children's playground about 25-30 metres from the house. There is also a delightful 'recreational' working farm about 5 minutes walk from the house that has horses, pigs, sheeps and goats, as well as a children's play area. We are a 10 minute drive from downtown Stavanger. Stavanger is a very charming city and boasts an excellent oil museum, among many other atractions. A lot of the streets in the town centre are pedestrianised. Stavanger also has a cathedral. In addition are many motoring trips that can be taken into the hinterland. We really are in the heart of fjord country! Stavanger city centre can also be reached via the regular local bus service.
