About our home

Built in the 1930s, our recently renovated house is in a lovely area close to the Oslo fjord and 10 minutes from the centre of Oslo. The house is light and spacious and organised across three levels with three bedrooms, three bathrooms, two kitchens and comfortable underfloor water-based heating. It features a large terrace, sunny balcony, an enclosed wooden fireplace, two living areas, fully-equipped yoga room, jacuzzi and new appliances throughout. It has dedicated 40mb/s fibre optic internet/wifi, We live in walking distance to nice shops, restaurants, cafes and public transport (underground rail, tram and bus). It is also only a 15 minute drive to downhill and crosscountry skiing areas.

Lilleaker on the west side of Oslo is a peaceful, leafy and family-friendly suburb a stone's throw from the Oslo fjord and situated on a beautiful river with waterfalls. Everything you need is available within walking distance - nice shops, restaurants, cafes, nature and public transport - and you can reach the centre of Oslo and main attractions by underground rail, tram and bus in around 15 minutes. It is also only a 15 minute drive to downhill winter parks and crosscountry skiing. The airport train runs every 10 minutes and takes you to/from where we live in 35 minutes.

Take a bus or ferry to Bygdøy for the Viking ship, Kon-tiki and Polar Ship museums. Don't miss the iconic Opera House and Nobel Peace Museum.

Visit Vigeland park sculpture museum to enjoy the works of Gustav Vigeland and Slottsparken for the Royal Palace
