About our home

Cosy townhouse built in 2005, 180 sqm in quiet neighborhood. The property has a private garden, large terrace and balcony. The city is surrounded by lovely countryside and mountains. This is a perfect place for anyone who wants to spend time in the Norwegian mountains. Within five minutes drive you can visit five beautiful beaches, some with much people, and others where you can be alone. Are you interested in fishing you can fish from the shore not far from the house, do you prefer fishing in the open sea you can join boats on longer trips.
The city center is about 10 min walk from the house, where you will find shops with everything you might need. In town you will find several cozy cafes and restaurats.

About one hour away you can visit Runde. This island is famous for its enormous amount of birds. It is said that there are about 500,000 to 700,000 seabirds inhabiting the island, most of them are to be found in the cliffs. Runde is connected by the Runde Bridge to the mainland.

Our house is about 90 kilometers from Geiranger. Geiranger is a small tourist village in Sunnmøre region of Møre og Romsdal county in the western part of Norway. Geiranger is home to some of the most spectacular scenery in the world, and has been named the best travel destination in Scandinavia by Lonely Planet. Since 2005, the Geirangerfjord area has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Ålesund is a town known for its unique concentration of Art Nouveau architecture.
