About our home

Odelien, with traditional wood buildings, the refreshing river and stunning hills have a very special place in our heart. We have chosen to settle here, and when you visit you'll understand why.

What are the unique benefits of the property?

-Perfect spot for active holiday (skiing, hiking, cycling, canoeing, horseback riding -Stunning nature -Cultural heritage; historic buildings, pictures village -Comfortable chalet -Panorama roads to the West Coast - Water falls

On holidays we often want to make the most out of it. The location near fjords and mountains in the pictures village of Leveld, makes it possible to see a lot of what Norway has to offer in a short time. There are plenty of activities both at the farm and nearby, winter and summer, for young or old, for the sporty or relaxed.

The farm: The chalet is located in natural surroundings at the edge of the historic farm Odelien, where you can see logged timber houses from 1865. The river pond with canoeing, free fishing, swimming and BBQ possibilities is popular by guests. Walking and skiing tracks directly from the chalet. Hot tub available on request.

Location: Located half way between Oslo and Bergen in Hallingdal, a valley known for its stunning mountains, old farms, living cultural heritage and its many ski resorts.

The village: Leveld is a picturesque mountain village, with many small sheep farms. Many famous artists have in the past worked and spend their holidays here because of the living culture and special light, and the village now has a centre for artists to stay and work and permanent art exhibitions.
