About our home

Our home is located in the town of Bocas Del Toro on Isla Colon. It is on a quite street and its quite pretty. It is surprisingly cool for the tropics but on hot days you can turn the AC on. We have one bedroom with an exit to a beautiful balcony; you can see the ocean just across the street where our guest house is located. The room has a queen size bed, a TV and a desk for a computer ... sometimes you can just stay in that room all day...There is another bedroom, where the children can sleep, or adults on another queen size mattress that can be used there. It has a big closet and an exit to the bathrooms. We have a small kitchen but fully equipped and a living-room with cable TV, stereo, sofas and an extension to another working desk. It is very comfortable and cozy.
Our home is located on the second floor of our 2 stories house. Also located on that floor are 2 classrooms, since our home is also the "Tangerine Educational Center" that is closed due to a summer vacation. The whole first floor is also part of the school and will be locked.
The garden is beautiful and school oriented, so we have a sand box, play ground, lots of room to run around, play soccer or just enjoy sitting in, for sunsets and early mornings.
Our guest house is located across the street and has its own beach and dock. It is rustic but has 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room, balcony and just an amazing location and view.
Bocas Del Toro is a very special little town, its amazing to live here, even for a short while.

More about us

  1. We are Benosn and Keren. We live in Bocas as a couple for 5 years and we have 2 young children - a 3 years old boy and a 1.5 years old girl. Benson have lived here for almost 12 years and owns the famous "Barco Hundido" bar (there is a sunken boat there you can snorkel around), I run the "Tangerine Educational Center" - international school that has students from Grade preschool (2 years old) to 4th grade.
I am from Israel - Omer and going to visit my family there every 2 years. We are going this July and would love to have an apartment in Tel-Aviv to stay in for the month.
We never did home exchange before but very excited to try it and give some other family the opportunity to come to Bocas and enjoy it like we do.
We are working on more photos, we're sorry for the delay.
