“Our stay was exactly what we were looking for: a tropical escape, but with all of the comforts to make travelling with a one year old easy. VIstas Cope is the reason we chose Panama as a vacation spot -- and the home that Andrew, Priscilla and family have dreamed up and built together is absolutely magnificent. It was a real treat to feel sheltered, but never closed off from the cooling valley breezes, the sound of the river, and the view amongst the tree tops. We were treated to regular rainbows and passing toucans, and always in company of three loyal, playful dogs. Everyone was very helpful in helping us set up and explore. Special thanks to Priscilla for the toys and crib and above-and-beyond support! Thanks again everyone! We'll be talking about (and sharing photos) from this trip for a while! ”

Where is it?
Our house is located in the mountains on the way up to a national park, Omar Torrijos, which is a cloud forest and famous for birding. There are a variety of hikes in the area both within and outside of the national park, with lots of rivers and waterfalls. The area is rural with a lot of pasture land, small farms and forests. The house sits in 17 acres of natural forest (we are promoting natural reforestation) bordered by 2 rivers. there is a small town 10 minutes drive with basic shops and local eateries Half hour drive is a main town with supermarkets, restaurants, a fruit and vegetable market. Beautiful Pacific beaches are an hour away.
