About our home

This 170 sqm apartment is located in a historic building dating back to the 1030s. It is located in the second floor (no elevator). It has three balconies (one main one in the front of the apartment and one in each bedroom), large windows, high ceilings, iconic floors and so much space right in heart of the city. The place has two bedrooms with air conditioner and individual balconies, a large living room, a dining room, fully equipped kitchen and laundry room and everything you'll need. I use my second bedroom as an office, so it has a desk and office chair.

The front balcony overlooks Park Urraca which has a softball field, amphitheater, dog park, kids games, basketball court, etc. Right across the street you'll find the beautiful Cinta Costera or waterfront, perfect for taking a stroll or working out.

Location is amazing. You'll be able to walk to restaurants, bars, cafes and pharmacies supermarkets. I am close to many bus stops and metro stations. Ubers are also readily available in this area and most rides in the city cost around $2-4 because of how central the place is.

I love my place and find it super cozy. Because it is a very old building it is not luxurious but it is very well taken care of. If you enjoy the natural light, open space, greenery and good energy, you will love this place. The apartment is on a second floor, there is no lift.

You can definitely bring kids, however I don't really have toys and you might have to baby-proof if you have a toddler.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Bella Vista Park Urraca is a fairly calm area for being down right in the heart of the city. The park is filled with kids playing, pets, people working out, and often there are cultural activities there. Take the elevated pass to cross the Ave Balboa and you'll be right on the Cinta Costera (waterfront) which is beautiful recreational area with views of the coast. The place is walking distance to many bus stops and metro stations. It is also a few meters from a pharmacy, restaurants and 2 blocks from a supermarket. Very walkable area.
