Incredible views of the coastal Andes can be enjoyed from almost every corner of our home and the central patio with its olive tree, water fountain and inca ceremonial granite table provide a wonderful retreat for meditation and relaxation. Swim in our solar-heated lap pool, soak your sore muscles in the hot tub after a full day of outdoor adventure, or simply spend the evening relaxing around the fire pit, whilst enjoying a nice glass of pisco or wine. You will find that our Sierra Morena home is a true Andean retreat for every season.
The main house is ideal for entertaining and family gatherings. It has an inviting living room featuring a bar, wood-burning fireplace and 55” flat screen television. The adjacent formal dining room can comfortably seat up to 14 people and if you prefer to eat outdoors, you may choose between a 12-seat dining table in the terrace by the pool, which is fantastic during the day, or an 8-seat table in the central patio, which also features an ethanol burning fireplace, making it great for the evenings. There is a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite counters, pantry, wine cooler, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher and everything you need to prepare gourmet meals. At the end of the day, you can cozy up in the media room where you can watch your favorite movies with full surround-sound in a 65" television or if you prefer a theater-like experience, you can use the full-sized projection screen. The house also comes with a fully equipped office if you need to do a little work during the holidays.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
The main house has 4 bedrooms all with their own en-suite bathrooms and direct access to the garden. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed, sitting area, walk-in closet, en-suite bathroom and 65" smart tv. The other 3 bedrooms are all identical and can each sleep up to 4 people in two double beds and two bunk beds.
The guest house has an additional 4 bedrooms, sleeping up to four people each, with their own en-suite bathrooms, closet, work desk and flat-screen televisions. Two bedrooms feature king sized beds and two bunkbeds, while the other two feature two double beds and two bunkbeds. For added independence, the guest house also features a kitchenette with stove, fridge and microwave oven as well as a living room with a 55" flat screen tv and direct access to the garden.
The staff quarters feature 3 additional bedrooms with a total of 6 beds, two bathrooms and a fully equipped laundry room.
Wireless internet and state of the art sound system throughout the house, cable tv, apple tv, Playstation 4, solar-heated 17.5 meter lap pool with automatic pool cover, 10 person hot tub, large gas-fired grill, traditional wood-burning mud oven, outdoor wood burning fire pit, two outdoor ethanol fireplaces, four car garage, pet farm with chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs, organic garden with fresh spices, vegetables and fruits, soccer pitch, trampoline, mountain bikes for the whole family and two 550HP Polaris ATVs that you can use to explore the surroundings. We also have two horses, Aspen and Strauss, that you can ride for free and if you require additional horses, there are dozens more available at Sierra Morena's stable which you can rent for a nominal fee. Our house also has two full-time staff members who will cater to your every need and make sure that you have an enjoyable stay.
Sierra Morena has several fresh water ponds with fish, birds and other wildlife, as well as a small beach where you can enjoy a picnic and take a dip in the Lurin river. There is a soccer field, two clay tennis courts and a club house with a pool table and other entertainment facilities. There is also a small archeological site with inca ruins that provide an off-the-beaten-path glimpse into Peru's past. If you're adventurous enough to make the three-hour hike up the Inca trail that runs through the property, you'll be treated to an amazing bird's eye view of the Lurin River Valley, just like the Incas did hundreds of years ago when making their way between the Andean highlands and the Pacific coast.
