Where is it?

When you choose to visit Phillipines, Bohol, you must remember that you are traveling to a 3. World country. Some things are not, as you might expect it to be or you must not be taken that for granted. Panglao Island and the people here, are very friendly and helpful. Crime rate is extremely low and you can walk safely around Panglao even at night. My advice is still, do not walk around alone into areas you don’t know. 80% speaks fluently English. It is still a necessary to keep in mind, that you will be in an calm and tranquil island. You will experience fantastic local beach areas, fresh seafoods, fruits and vegetables you never seen before, or with a color and taste that you only dreamed of. Price wise it’s 20% lower then ex. Thailand. A typical meal with a beer, Mango shake or soft drink will often cost you only 8-10 usd.
Extraordinary meals 12-15 usd. Tips are usually 10% on top.

Buzzy restaurants
There are man types of restaurants. It all depends on you and how much you wanna spend
Cool bars
Down at Alona Beach there are a few good Bars, but also many Local and foreign restaurants
Cozy cafés
I wouldn’t be able to pick one up as our favorite. Check it out
Retail therapy
Massage and Spa’s are everywhere. It’s a most try. One hour massage or Foot Spa usually cost 10-15 usd - depending where you go.
Bit of culture
Culture and Sightseeing - I would recommend to take a 6 hour Landtrip, which takes you around most of the areas that is see worthy. Price around 45-50 usd for the car with Driver. Includes max 3-4 pax. All entries and food is not included. But Car, driver and gasoline is included.
Walks in the park
Unfortunately we don’t have “Parks” here in Bohol/ Panglao. But caves, some waterfalls, diving/snorkeling is a most try. Many dive shops at Alona Beach. Around 50 usd pax for 2-3 dives with oxygen. All gear included.
Spot of exercise
The beach in the morning and late afternoon.
Day tripping
As mentioned, the landtrip is advisable
