The house is situated in the south-west part of Poland close to the Czech border. This mountainous region of Klodzko Valley offers hills walking, mountain cycling and visiting famous local spas. Both younger and more elderly people will find this area interesting, as you can enjoy different ways of spending time here. In one day trip you can reach historical Prague or Cracow or spend a lovely night in one of numerous Wroclaw's restaurants. Wining and dining in Poland is now very attractive thanks to a good local currency exchange rate.
Our cottage of 150 m2 has been totally rebuilt in 2006. It has Sat TV & WiFi Internet. Downstairs there is a big living room with a fully equipped kitchen (oven, dish washer, washing machine, etc.) and WC. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms and a bathroom (shower and Jacuzzi bath). Additionally it is possible to use a separate two bedroom guest house of 40 m2. A small swimming pool, volley ball / badminton playground, grill as well as open outdoor fireplace are available.
All of these are located on 5 acres of land (~ 2 ha) with its own brook and forest.
As this is our holiday house (we live in Wroclaw), it is not necessary to exchange houses simultaneously.

We are a family of three. Adam is a manager in a French consulting company and Beata works as an HR manager for an Spanish bank. Our kid Piotr is 15 years old – he loves to spend his spare time in our mountainous house, but at the same time he finds it very fascinating to travel all over Poland and abroad.
We are interested in getting to know other Polish regions and distant countries and how other people live. That is why we rather avoid travel agents, preferring to organize our excursions ourselves.
We have successfully exchanged our house with nice people from France in August 2009 and July 2010. In Easter time 2011 we also experienced wonderful exchange with a family from Denmark and 2013 Spain. We are still open for new challenges in 2014/15.
