About our home

This two-storeys 120 sqm apartment is situated on the top floor of an 1930s' tenament house in Krakow's Zwierzyniec neighbourhood. On the first floor there are two bedrooms (one of them for children), spacious diningroom connected to the kitchen, bathroom and a large livingroom. On the second storey there are two bedrooms (one with a double bed connected to the small bathroom and the second bedroom with a single bed). If you are a couple with up to two children the lower storey is more than enough in terms of space, but of course you are welcome to use the second floor as well.

We have A LOT of toys, especially for boys. Their kingdom is the bunk beded room adjecent to the kitchen.

Kitchen is fully eqipped with all the stuff you would need (oven, misrowave, dishwasher etc.)

The house is located on a quiet street, yet it is very close to the tram stop from where there are only two stops to the main square in the old city where you will find number of fine restaurants, pubs, museums and old monuments. Alternatively you can walk 15 minutes eastwards to get to the old city. Prusa street will connect you with Blonia and park Jordana - a huge meadow in the city centre. A 5 minutes walk in the opposite direction will bring you to the Vistula riverbank. Walking 15 minutes along the riverbank will bring you to Wawel Castla and another 15 minutes to Kazimierz Jewish District.

You are also welcome to use our bicycles, both of them equipped with sits for infants as well as two small bicycles for children. There are planty of bicycle trips I would reccomend, my favorite being a 6 km ride to Tyniec Benedictine abbey and 5 km ride through hilly forest to the Camaldolese abbey in Bielany.

As for daytrips there are number of possibilities including visiting jurrasic hills of Jura Krakowsko-Czestochowska, Gorce and Tatra mountains, Wieliczka salt mine or Auschwitz concentration camp.
