Flat overlooking golf course, pools, very good for couples with children

The apartment is 160 square meters with 3 rooms, 3 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, living and dining room, 3 balconies overlooking Sintra castles, the golf course and a lake.
There's wifi, an external drive with lots of movies, lots of toys for babies and children.
Nespresso type coffee machine.
We have beach gear, like beach parasol, chair, toys, beach towels, etc.

There's a very nice grocery store 100 meters away where you can buy almost anything from fresh bread to wine.
There's also two restaurants, one in the Club house (a little more formal) and another more casual, just perfect for an hamburger a pizza or what we call the dish of the day.

For us, the perfect Summer day is spent half at our condo, cycling, strolling, pool, coffee or a drink at the restaurant and the other half at the beach waiting for the sun to set and having dinner or going to Sintra, Cascais or Lisboa looking some event at night (there's much cultural activity in the Summer around here).

What we really like about living here is it's fresh air, the tranquility, the neighbors and the happiness of children playing in a safe and wider environment than the big cities.
There are several tennis courts and parks for the kids with skate park, a rappel wall, etc, 100 meters away.
There's a very nice gym with jacuzzi, turkish bath, sauna, heated pool and fitness machines for a daily or weekly fee (something like 10 euros a day and 30 a week), this is 50 meters away from home.
One 18 hole golf course (I'm not a player) with a 50% discount for our guests, this is 200 meters away.

The condo is near and far just enough from the main touristic centers like Sintra, Cascais, Lisboa and Estoril Coast.

This house is not within easy walk to the beach. You've got to have a car but, with so many nice beaches I wouldn't always advise you to stay at only one beach.
By car, the nearest beach is Carcavelos, some 20 minutes by car.

All in all I think this is a wonderful place and a great base to return after a hard day at the beach or sightseeing.

We have another home, south of Tagus river, that we use for a weekend escape. This house is very near (7 km) the beach, perhaps the most wonderful beaches around Lisbon, the Costa de Caparica ones. In this house you can come and go to the beach 2 or 3 times a day. I mean, when it's to hot you return home, cook your meals, here we have a barbecue, rest for a while and then return to the beach around 4 pm when it's not so hot.
In this house we have a big patio where you can have dinner alfresco. Summer nights here are usually hotter than in the north part of Tagus river.

We can include this house in the swap, leaving you the keys and the map to get there, this way you can have two types of holidays. A beach and only beach one and another one more diverse and complete.
