Casa dos Bicos is a typical Alentejo house, built in mud, with natural characteristics that preserve it cool in summer and comfortable in winter. It is an ecological house (EcoCasa) uses natural resources for energy production and hot water supply, promotes the recycling and recovery of old furniture, and ends up promoting the rural history of an Alentejo family. In the living room, above the wood-fired oven, some of the old utensils of the grandparents (which, besides agriculture, were dedicated to beekeeping and local commerce) are on display.
The house has 2 bedrooms. In total it has 3 double beds (old iron beds restored). In the living room there is an additional sofa bed, if required, in case of occupancy of the space by 3 couples.
House located in a rural area, in a village near the Vincentian coast. The countryside has characteristics of small village, with the honey shop at the entrance of the property. The House is situated 17 km from Cercal do Alentejo, close to the Vincentian coast and beaches.
