About our home

This apartment, about 40m2, called Casa de Sao Vicente, is located in a Pombaline building, built in the nineteenth century, having recently had a complete renovation and modernization, while respecting the traces of the original architectural style. It is decorated in an attractive, friendly and comfortable way, designed with the welfare of those who dwell. With a capacity to house four people, the apartment comprises a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, bedroom with double bed, living room with sofa bed, dining table, TV, towels and sheets. Nearby will be able to find cafes, bars, restaurants, fado houses, supermarket and so renowned flea market (every Tuesday and Saturday), among other tourist attractions such as museums, churches, palaces and sights. With excellent access, can be found right outside the apartment a public car parking and a tram stop (Nº 28), one of the icons of Lisbon, which crosses the quarter Prazeres from the city to the quarter Graça, providing a nice long walk through the hills and narrow streets of the capital.

The apartment is located in the Graça quarter in the historic center of Lisbon, just in front of church and monastery of São Vicente de Fora, one of the most important and notable religious monuments in the city. Built after the conquest of Lisbon from the Moors, was the result of a vow made by King Afonso Henriques to São Vicente during the siege of the city in 1143. Very close can be find, if Friday or Saturday, one of the most popular and busy markets of the city, a Flea Market, where everything sells and buys everything from the most useless things to the most precious antiquities. The Graça quarter has many tourist attractions such as the church and convent of Graça, the palace of Condes de Figueira, Chapel of Nossa Senhora do Monte, Convent of Mónicas, among others. In this typical quarter, can be found too small neighborhoods or charming villages like Vila Berta or Bairro Estrela D'Ouro, details of an old Lisbon of other times, that have preserved up to today its charm. The Viewpoint of Graça and Senhora do Monte still provide moments of relaxation and rest, where we can dazzle with the most wonderful views over Lisbon.
Address: Calçada de São Vicente, 89 R/C - Lisboa.

We are two guys. We live together from 10 years. Our best hobbie is to travel around the world. Our Lisbon house is a little but fantastic house, recently renewed. We'd like to do city breaks in Europe...
