Ecological, organic, Portuguese - our recently renovated flat in the old Lisbon, sustainable and respecting the past, and... just for this very reason... charming and comfortable...
The apartment (about 67sq m) has a living room, a dining room, a separate kitchen, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1 small balcony.
Situated on the 2nd floor. Sunny and quiet. WIFI.
All windows have double glazing. Heaters (gas) through out the apartment, for people like me who like summer temperatures inside when outside it is windy and raining.
Towel heater in the bathroom. Hairdryer.
The flat was renovated using almost exclusively Portuguese products, from the taps in the kitchen and the bathroom to the light switches - and, of course, the tiles...
Kitchen fully equipped for people who like cooking themselves,
living room equipped with a guitare for people who like making music themselves,
whole apartment equipped with books in German, French and Portuguese for those who love reading.
The apartment is a non-smoking area, but feel free to smoke on the balcony.
Home is lived in by my husband and me, so I know that it's ideal for a couple, but in case we have place for up to 4-5 persons (bedroom for 2, canapé in the living room for 1-2 persons, bed in the living room for 1 person).
The flat is situated in the district of Graça, an authentic and popular district of Lisboa, near to the Feira da Ladra (10 minutes walking distance), on the route of the famous tram 28.
Everything you need is in the neighbourhood (walking distance), you can do all your shopping for every day life without having to go to a supermarket (although there is one nearby, "Pingo Doce", 10 minute walk): Portuguese groceries, greengrocers, bakeries, fishmongers, butchers... and of course cafés and small restaurants.
My husband (56) and me (45) are teachers (philosophy, French-German translation and interpreting) laughing together very much... loving each other very much... and living together and for each other since many years.
Languages spoken: German (very well), French (very well), English (less well as you can easily see), Portuguese (better and better).
We are experienced home-swappers, since 2010, having done quite a lot of swaps, on this site and others, with the different homes we have had since.
