About our home

Coming to Lisbon and not going to Chiado is like going to Paris and avoiding the Champs-Élysées or the Eiffel Tower.

The 1-bedroom apartment is situated on the 3rd floor of a refurbished building (2014) hosting the oldest running bookstore in the world, called Livraria Bertrand.
Not only you will be staying in one of the most attractive street of Lisbon (not to say the most...) and in the most iconic building of that street.

The apartment is modern and stylish, with totally equipped kitchen and bathroom with shower and bath; a very comfortable king-size bed and a Ligne Roset Nomad Express sofa bed; AC, floor heating, Wi-Fi, and a video intercom system.

This tourist area of the capital begins at the A Brasileira café, on Rua Garrett. Opened in 1905. This café is one of Lisbon's ex-libris. In the esplanade you will find the most different urban tribes and a statue of the famous Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa.

Next to it are two churches: the Church of Loreto, erected in 1528 by the Italians who lived in Portugal, partially destroyed by the earthquake of 1755, but later recovered. And the church of the Encarnação opened in 1708, which was also destroyed in 1755 and re-built later. But Chiado has more than two churches to see.

Praça Luís de Camões, which Lisboetes call Largo Camões, is not only a place of passage. Sit on the steps of the monument to the poet and enjoy the life that Chiado has. But do not leave Chiado without seeing the opera house S. Carlos, the Municipal Theater of São Luiz, which was one of the first cinemas in Lisbon, and Teatro da Trindade.

It will not be difficult to meet public figures, especially artists. There are several schools of artistic training in this area, such as the Faculty of Fine Arts. We also invite you to visit the Chiado Museum - National Museum of Contemporary Art.

This is one of the best areas of the city for shopping and eating: two 2-Michelin Stars restaurants are at a footstep from the apartment…

With its super central location and at 20mins from the airport by car, Chiado Stylish is the best place to stay for short or long terms.
