About our home
Our apartment and private garden have been treated with love to create a home-like feeling. One of the rooms was converted into an office that my wife and I both share. The bedroom has a king-sized bed with very soft and nice sheets.
The apartment is located in the neighborhood of Lapa, one of Lisbon's nicest neighborhoods and a 15-min walk to the river where you can jog as well as being a 20-minute walk away from Time Out Market and Barrio Alto. Finally, the garden is quite big for an apartment in the city center.
For those that have a kid, we have a crib that can turn into a toddler bed, an inflatable pool, a highchair, and a baby bathtub.

Where is it?
Neighbourhood
Our flat is centrally located in Lapa. As Lisbon expanded in the 1700s, the nobility and wealthy established their homes in this area. Among the best neighborhoods of Lisbon, with large homes and thoughtfully preserved palaces and mansions, this is a quiet and important area. Lapa itself is known as the embassy quarter. The imposing Basilica da Estrela is the meeting point for neighbors as is the verdant Jardim da Estrela, where most afternoons you'll find elders playing cards and youngsters filling the playground. This garden is the only level area, topping one of the seven hills of Lisbon, with the entire neighborhood unfolding from there. Views are breathtaking, spanning the city, the Tagus and the red spires of the Ponte 25 de Abril bridge.
