About our home

Lisbon City ? Bairro Alto: You can fully enjoy this three-bedroom apartment, which as also a generous living-room. 2 double bed-rooms and 1 single-room, with a single bed and a bunk bed, 1 kitchen and 1 bathroom. The flat is fully equipped and linen is available. Ideal for 1, 2, 3 until 7 people, located in a quiet street of "Bairro Alto". In "Bairro Alto" you can find typical Portuguese as well as international fine cuisine restaurants, stores of Portuguese fashion designers, bars and galleries. If you are staying in "Bairro Alto" you must go to one of the various "Fado" houses in the area and listen to "Fado", the Portuguese traditional music.

Buy fresh fruit at the local grocery shop right on the corner, wander through the paved car-free streets and alleys and live into the spirit of Lisbon life. In the evening you can have a drink and enjoy yourself in one of the several bars which make "Bairro Alto" the center of Lisbon night life. At about a five-minutes distance on foot you will find yourself in "Chiado". Located in the downtown area of Lisbon, known as "Baixa"-rebuilt after the 1755 earthquake, it is a privileged zone for shopping and sightseeing. Visit its baroque churches and go to a fine play in one of the various local Theatres. Drink the traditional "bica" (an expresso) in a typical Lisbon café like "A Brasileira", where the well-known Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa used to go (outside the café you will notice a very special client). You must also visit the S. Jorge Castle conquered to the Arabs in the 12th century. Also nearby, there is the Rossio train station with access to Sintra and its wonderful beaches and historic monuments. Chiado also has a subway station which will take you to other parts of Lisbon. A ride on the tram, the traditional Lisbon transport, is also unforgettable. Come visit us, we have many things to offer.
