We thought it would be an idea to let a family that stays most summers at our Villa describe a stay ...... the costs Martin refers to below are to hire a car to travel the 60 mins from Faro airport to our Villa ........

I trawled the internet for 6 months trying to find that perfect Villa, you know the one I mean Beautiful, plush furniture, amazing sea views, Infinity pool etc & I stumbled on this one, Firstly let me say that the pictures do NOT do this Villa Justice, I arrived with my wife’s family & we were all speechless, the villa is much bigger than the pictures show, the furniture & decor is fantastic, its not ultra modern but very classy & high spec, you instantly feel at home. All the bedrooms have en-suite which are all beautifully done out, the bedrooms are all a good size, we were a family party and we all had our own space, we never got under each others feet.
The Kitchen has absolutely everything you could possibly need & then some, everything is really good quality, and the whole villa was immaculate & spotlessly clean, the lounge is huge & plenty of comfy seating to relax in on an evening, we actually enjoyed the villa so much that we never turned the TV on once.
The whole villa is very well equipped to cater for any occasion, the BBQ is great, now the grounds are stunning, the pool was fantastic & warm with the pool heating on, the Jacuzzi was just brilliant especially relaxing in the sun with a cold drink.
I have thought long & hard if there were any negative points & my only gripe was I was only staying for 1 week.
A few notes
Luz town is only about ten to fifteen minute walk or 3 minutes by car, there is a large Spar shop & another called Baptista which both sell most things you will need.
A quick ten minute drive will get you to Lagos, which is a larger resort with numerous supermarkets & restaurants, I forgot to mention there are many restaurants within walking distance from the villa.
If your thinking of hiring a car I would definitely recommend getting one, the villa is around 60 miles away & takes just over an hour, I hired a minibus which cost me nearly £500,00 including the top insurance, it may seem expensive but taxi fares are roughly £90.00 each way for up to 4 people so my party would have had to spent between £350-400 just to get to & from the villa. the roads are quiet & all in good condition, better than the uk. Using the motorways there are tolls the hire company will offer you a £20.00 credit, we were out most days & we only went over by about £8.00
To sum this villa I would just try it, you wont be disappointed, exceptional Villa outshines any other villa, excellent location we loved it so much were back there next year, already booked in so hurry.
