About our home

Typical architecture townhouse in Oporto.
Renovated 4 years ago, still mantains the charm of the old but with all modern comodities.
The backyard makes you forget you are in the city center! With metro station just 5 minutes walking distance, you are in Avenida dos Aliados in 15 minutes.
The house has no parking but there is a lot of parking on the street, around the house.
Supermarket, restaurants, bakeries and a lot of services just outside the house.
10 minute walk leaves directly in Oporto Stadium and just in front you have a shopping mall. On the other direction, a 7min walk takes you to the subway yellow line which will leave in the city center in less than 10min.

Buzzy restaurants
Barcarola, just 2minutes away, is one of the best known restaurants in Oporto to eat "francesinha", the typical Oporto sandwich. But if you are looking for a full Oporto experience and Portuguese food don't miss the "Adega São Nicolau", in "Ribeira", very close to the S. Luis bridge.
Cool bars
"Galerias Paris" is more than just a bar. The whole street gets buzzy with a vibrant atmosphere on friday and saturday nights. The area is full of bars and small discos where you can enjoy a drink or even dance if you feel like it.
Cozy cafés
Enjoy the live music in Guarany, in Avenida dos Aliados.
Bit of culture
People from Oporto are warming and friendly, despite being shy. Don't hesitate to start a conversation with the waiter or the person sitting next to you. We love to share our experiences and knowledge. Our lunch time is usualy between 1pm, and dinner at 8pm.
Walks in the park
If you like to enjoy nature inside the city you must go to "Parque da Cidade", the biggest park in Oporto. Begin your relaxing jogging at the east entrance, and walk all the way to the sea front and have a dive on the Atlantic sea.
Day tripping
There are 4 major cities worth a day trip - Braga, Guimaraes, Aveiro, and Coimbra. All of them are accessible by train. In addition, a must go in the Oporto wine vineyards, an Unesco Heritage on the banks of Douro river. A lot of turism agencies can arrange you a day trip (most spetacular by train).
