About our home

Our home is large and spacious, built on a 1,200 square meter lot. It has three bedrooms, the master with a king bed, private bath, walk in closet, and sofa bed, the second room has a queen bed, and the third room has two full beds. In addition, the family room, with large screen TV and modern sectional sofa, has pocket doors for privacy, if needed. There is an additional living area, a dining area, large open kitchen, with stainless steel appliances, and an outside terrace. There is a golf cart for your enjoyment of the resort. The decoration is Modern Caribbean Plantation.

More about us

We are a couple in our early fifties, with three sons, ages 14, 18 and 22. We have enjoyed this property very much during the last few years as a second home. The golfing is great, with four golf courses, including the famous East and West courses of Dorado Beach, where Chichi Rodriguez started as a caddy!!. We would like to exchange this beautiful home, so we can travel to other places. Since we live in Puerto Rico, we love to grab some cool weather once in a while!

Where is it?

Dorado Beach East, where our home is located, is a 10 year spectacularly planned resort community, build within the grounds of exclusive Dorado Beach Resort and Golf CLub, which was originally developed by the late David Rockefeller, in the early fifties. It offers a beautiful atmosphere with manicured lakes, sculptures, 2 water parks, The Watermill Park, and The Livingston Park, plus another separate pool, adjoining the Club House, the tennis courts, the gym facilities, and the "Bunker", the teenagers meeting place. It is the opinion of most in Puerto Rico that this is the most beautiful beach in Puerto Rico. Dorado is a premier tourist destination, located 25 minutes west of San Juan, and about 40 minutes drive from the Luis Munoz Marin Int'l airport. (North coast of Puerto Rico). Dorado offers all amenities, including restaurants, movie theaters, supermarkets, etc, and it is also close to San Juan, which offers the most important nightlife, clubs, casinos, in all of the Caribbean. A large shopping outlets center is located a Barceloneta, a 30 minute drive to the west of Dorado.
